the purpose of all of this, is what?
This whole blog thing started because it had to; it was for class and so I did it. Not super fabulously but did it none the less. And I realized that it was sort of nice. When I type it, then publish it, I have to own it. I have to own my process. The creative process requires you to own the fact that you are a train wreck sometimes; it takes way too many steps, and requires a lot of drinking, eating, music listening, journaling, sleep deprivation, and a whole lot of overthinking. Then, sooner or later, something beautiful emerges, and not the bags under your eyes, but art. (I think. I think it's art.) And you feel fulfilled.
I say all these words to get to the point that I am going to continue to blog about each piece that is currently in the works, and about my process along the way. As I said, if it's published online, I need to own what I'm doing. I need to take responsibility for my thoughts, theories, and creations.
