We are over halfway through our process, have a substantial amount of movement vocabulary, one clearly defined character, and a lot of plates. But there is a disconnect somewhere.
The movement is taking on a life of its own and is no longer sitting well juxtaposed to the plates. The two sections have created a deep divide and the movement is too surface level. It needs to go deeper and to tell more of a story. But what is the story, truly?
The idea of missed opportunities is so large. What does it mean to "miss a chance"? What is the bodies response to that missed moment? Is it anger? Insanity? Defeat? Can you passively miss an opportunity? What happens when you stare at it too long? When you face a missed opportunity head on, then what happens?
What is a missed opportunity?
...answers to come, hopefully.
